A Veterans’ Valentine Wreath, for all of our great American service people who are serving or have served our country.

MATERIALS

Camouflage fabric

Red fabric

Heart wire wreath form

Iron on embroidery letters

6 Large buttonsHot glue

STEPS

Measure out and mark 1.5” wide lines. And cut out the strips with pinking shears.

Then cut the strips into 7” lengths.

Tie the strips around the frame pushing them as close as possible together. Make half the frame camouflage and half red.

Cut a circle of fabric and glue it around a button.

Use a round item to cut 5 roughly 4” circles.

Fold a circle in half and secure with hot glue.

Fold the half in half again and secure with hot glue.

Pinch the quarter piece and put a drop of glue in the middle, fold back the sides and put a drop of glue to hold each in place.

Repeat to get five petals and attach them to each other with hot glue.

Use hot glue to attach the button to the center of the flower.  I made 6 flowers formy wreath, some red some camouflage. Attach them in clusters on the wreath.

To make the name tag attach the iron on letters to one of the strips of fabric. Attach to wreath with a drop of glue.
