Calico Corn Centerpiece

I don't know about you, but this is the time of year where things start to get really busy.  In a month I won't know which way is up.  That's why I love this centerpiece, put it together now and it can stay on your table through Thanksgiving.  It's easy, it's inexpensive, and, dare I say, quite rustically fabulous!MATERIALS

STEPS

Cut a piece of felt big enough to wrap around your jar or vase overlapping itself a little.  Use a line of glue on the short end to glue the felt to itself and hold it in place.

Place a rubber band around the felted jar and start adding your corn one ear at a time.

Continue until the corn is completely around the jar.  Wrap two pieces of rope around the corn to hold them in place, tie a couple of pretty knots and cut the rubber band.

Voila!
