Bird's Nest

Spring is in full swing and what better way to celebrate than building your own bird's nest!  I made a few of these and nestled them in wreaths and tucked them onto branches.MATERIALS- Spray glue- Spanish moss- Green sheet moss- Twigs, feathers and other nesty what-not- A few eggs if your birds are the family typeSTEPSGather your Spanish moss into a nest-size ball and spray it all over with spray glue. (Best to wear some gloves.)  While wet, shape it into a nest shape.  If needed hit it with some more glue until it starts to hold it's shape.Using a glue gun add bits of green moss.  I concentrated on partially covering the inside of the nest and having a few pieces curve over the top.  Then go back and insert a few twigs around the outside.  Add a feather here and there.  I also added a piece of silk ivy curving around the outside.Add a few eggs.  I then nestled them into a few wreaths. These will last year after year and what a great way to welcome spring.
