Vintage...My Old Friend

Don't get me wrong, I like bright, shiny new things just as much as the next guy.  That being said, I've also always been a fan of second hand, vintage, antique items (to me the only thing that truly differentiates those terms is how much you ended up paying for the item.)  Mixed in with new modern items in my home I have some street corner finds from my first apartment, some family heirlooms and even some real antiques.  All of these things make the modern items pop even more as well as taking the cold edge off of them.  If you're going to have a chrome and glass coffee table, try putting a stack of vintage books on it to really make it sing.  The vintage items put the stamp of "This is My Place - No One Else's" clearly on the room.  This week in the San Francisco store we got a shipment of quirky, nostalgic and somewhat iconic vintage items.  Because of the one of a kind nature of these items, they aren't available on the website, but if you're in S.F., swing by and have a look or give us a call at 415-431-6900.
