Dog Feeder Dresser

Before kids, we were happy pet parents.  With two dogs and a cat we were always tripping over bowls, leashes and bags of food. Well, the next time we go down that path, boy will things be different!  I’ve figured out this all in one pet food and bowl holder that keeps everything in one place.  Added bonus, if guests are coming over, all the drawers close and the mess is out of sight!

MATERIALSDresser - make sure the height of the bottom drawer will be a good height for your food bowls for your particular size dog.Rimmed pet food bowlsPlywoodWood glueNailsPaintKitty litter tray that fits top drawer

STEPS

Measure and cut a piece of plywood that fits snugly inside the bottom drawer.

Draw and cut two circles in the plywood that your pet bowls can rest inside.  Make sure you measure the width of the bowl, not the rim.  The rims should be larger than the holes and rest on top.

Cut two rectangles for the sides of the bowl holder.  They should be sized  so the holder sits just below the top of the drawer. Using wood glue and nails attach the sides to the bowl holder and paint.

Depending on the size and weight of your dresser, you may want to secure the dresser to the wall using child safety hooks. Now, slip the bowl holder into the bottom drawer.  Slide the kitty litter tray into the top drawer and fill with food. Now you’ve got your middle drawer available for leashes, toys, and tidbits!
