Who doesn’t love a showstopper, especially an easy one! Perfect for beside the front door or paired up to flank a sidewalk. I kept mine orange, but they’d also look good painted to look like stone - so many options!MATERIALS5 Foam carved pumpkinsPlanterSpray insulation foamMasking tapeCardboard1/2” 6’ dowelDrill with 3/4” bitLED strip lights with adhesive backDecorative mossSTEPSTrace around top of pot into your cardboard and cut out. Cut a slit to the center of the circle and cut out a 1/2” hole that will fit your dowel.Place the dowel into the pot.Spray expandable insulation foam into the bottom of the pot focusing around the dowel.Use masking tape to hold the dowel in place while the foam dries. Make sure it’s straight up and down or you’ll have a leaning tower of pumpkins. As the foam dries it will expand and fill up the bottom portion of the pot.Once dry, remove the tape and place the cardboard circle on the pot, around the dowel.Remove the backing from the LED strip and ,starting at the bottom, adhere to the dowel. When you get to the top, turn the tape and run it back down. Keep going until you’ve applied all the tape.Make sure that the adapter part of the light strip is at the bottom!Drill holes into the bottom and top of all your pumpkins except the one you want on top. I mixed mine up, drilling some in the center and some slightly of center to make the tower a little topsy-turvy. Just remember the the holes need to be exactly opposite of each other on the pumpkin. For the top pumpkin just drill into the bottom.Start sliding your pumpkins on, one by one. Rotate them so the lights are facing the back. (Uh...so exactly like I didn’t do in the picture.)Keep stacking...And place the final pumpkin on top.Now your all set to have the best from porch on the block!!!Who doesn’t love a showstopper, especially an easy one!
