Giant Silver Bells

Getting a lot of impact in your holiday front yard decorating can be difficult....and expensive.  A lot of what's out there isn't necessarily the most sophisticated and if you do find what you want it will cost you a fortune.  In trying to solve that problem, I created these oversized bells. The trick?  They're made from inexpensive plastic flower pots!

Drill a hole in the bottom of your pot that will be big enough for your screw eye to fit into.  Then spray paint your pots.  I did mine inside and out, but just outside would be fine.

Insert the screw eye though the hole and secure on the inside with the nut.

Tie a string from the nut and attach the Christmas ball.

To hang mine, I got a long piece of wide outdoor ribbons and simple passed them though the screw eyes tying a knot around each one to secure it in place.  I then put a nail in our post and hung the first screw eye on it and let the rest of the bells just hang!
